On Office. In the Location , type or browse to a location for your notebook to be saved. OneNote automatically and continuously saves your work while you take notes, whenever you switch to another page or section, and whenever you close sections and notebooks. There is no need to save our notes manually, even when you finish them. In the Save As dialog box, navigate to the location where you want to save the file.
To make typewritten notes, click wherever on the page you want the notes to appear, and then type. OneNote creates a notes container for each block of text that you type or write. Tip: To go back to your file and make changes before you print it, click the File tab.

They can not only add written notes. But hey can also add images, video, audio, hyperlinks, etc. And they have a rich toolset to emphasize certain parts of their notes, add tasks, etc. But the keep everything nicely organized I want to provide my students with some templates that are customized for lessons at our school. But distributing OneNote templates also called stationaries is not a one click deal. I will not go into detail explaining how to build templates.
There is no separate file type for templates in OneNote. So if we want to create our own distributable templates we can follow this approach as well. You can download my first examples here.
As soon as my templates are completely ready I will also post them on this blog. Still hard to get them to use the templates. A lot of them use the OneNote web app.
And this makes using templates almost impossible. You are commenting using your WordPress. You are commenting using your Google account. On the File menu, point to New , and then click Page. Note: You can also create a new page by clicking New Page above the page tabs. Add any content to the page that you want to appear whenever new pages are created based on your custom template. For example, if you are creating a template for meeting notes, you could add an agenda section and headings for the meeting's date and time.

In the Paper Size task pane, set the paper size and print margins. Add any content that you want to appear in the template. Every new page that you create using this template will have this information on it.
