Serial number fireworks
A key finder program is the quickest, and overall the easiest, way to figure out what serial number was used to install your copy of Adobe CS or one of the member programs.
We've compiled an extensive list of free key finder programs for a number of completely free tools that will do all the hard work for you, surfacing the Adobe CS serial number you need so you can reinstall your copy of Adobe CS6 Master Collection or Adobe Photoshop CS5, etc. We highly recommend working your way from the top to the bottom in that list of recommended key finders.
Unfortunately, considering the long history of Adobe CS programs, one of those key finder tools may find the serial for one CS version, while another may find a different if you've had multiple versions of CS. As mentioned above, the answer to this question is yes and no. One of our favorite serial number finder tools is Belarc Advisor, and we rarely come across a program that it won't find the serial number or product key for. This program has a particularly strong track-record with digging up the serial numbers used for Adobe CS programs.
There are other ways to find a lost serial number, but be sure to give the keyfinder method a try first. I am also experiencing the "Provide a serial number" bug with Fireworks CS6, but mine is after a fresh installation of Windows 10 and Adobe Creative Cloud. Any other suggestions? Am experiencing the same issue and can also confirm that this method launched an updater that showed 2 updates one about mb for Fireworks CS6 and the other for the extension manager , but even after completing the updates and trying again, Fireworks is still prompting for a product key after signing in Far from ideal but as a temporary solution you could uninstall the Windows 20H2 update, follow these instructions :.
Have I missed a related step with that update removal above? I think it might be a good idea to uninstall and do a clean re-install of Fireworks after removing the Windows Update Unfortunately still no success after that. I saw another post on these forums may have even been by yourself that mentioned installing CC Muse - doing so and running through a first launch of that app allows me to launch Fireworks properly, greeting me with a "Last trial launch" window.
For now, I can deal with having to uninstall both apps, reinstall Muse, activate it and then run Fireworks just to get one more launch out of it until hopefully whatever is happening here is resolved speaks for how far I'm willing to go for an app that ticks boxes like Fireworks does, shame they killed it.
The Muse solutions wasn't me, but I did see the post. I'm sceptical it will work, but I suppose at this point its worth a try if you are running out of options. This is another last resort solution - but I'm assuming you could install Fireworks on a VM with an older version of Windows. Have you tried running Windows Compatability Troubleshooter on the Fireworks. Try that first and see if the automatic compatability settings fix the issue, if they don't try some manual settings like compatability mode for windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista Sadly, this hasn't worked for me either.
I've tried running the compatibility troubleshooter on the Fireworks. Clicking "Sign In" takes you to the dreaded "Provide a serial number" screen What's even worse is I do not have the option to uninstall the Windows 20H2 update you mentioned The only update I can uninstall is the 21H1 update. Ok, for those just joining us Check the box "Run this program as an administrator".
Click OK. Do the same thing for the Fireworks. I managed to download the Fireworks package from the link you provided but the installation fails with the following error message: "Installer failed to initialize. This could be to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem". Can it be something with the Adobe Genuine Software? But nothing is working! I still cannot open Fireworks. It just says my free trial has expired even though I pay the monthly fee for tall the apps.
And then it wants a serial number - which is not right since NO cloud apps need Serial numbers. I need to fix this right away Please help. Same problem here. I tried to contact the Adobe support but they keep saying they don't support Fireworks anymore and I need to look for awnsers here on the forum.
What a bad support is this! The program is working fine, but it just keeps asking for a serial key. Dear Adobe, I have the same problem and tried the solutions, nothing seems to work. The problem doesn't seem to be a problem with the connections to the Adobe-server but with the server it self. After starting FireWorks I need to sign in and then it keeps asking for a serial number.
Have you tried the solution towards the top of this thread? Make sure PDapp. Adobe Support Community. Turn on suggestions. Those are portable programs that you can even run from places like a CD or flash drive — we mention which are made that way in our reviews.
To the question, however, yes — Adobe stores their CS serial numbers in the Windows Registry, inside a particular registry key. Unfortunately, that key contains your Adobe CS serial number in an encrypted format, meaning it's useless without some complex decrypting.
If a keyfinder tool is just out of the question, we recommend contacting Adobe directly. Your best bet is to start with their tutorial on how to find your serial number.
Honestly, you might be able to generate a working free Adobe CS serial number using one of those serial number generators that are out there. There are many different kinds that seem to work just fine for lots of Adobe products.
